Having had a successful start in Queensland, ENGEO is opening its third Australian office to better serve Brisbane and the Gold Coast regions. After a lively year commuting throughout Queensland, Senior Engineering Geologist and new Brisbane office leader, Josh Armstrong, is looking forward to digging in to the exciting new projects on offer in the city, and developing ENGEO’s growing team there. With Geotechnical Engineer Hamish Foy alongside him and the solid team based in Maroochydore, ENGEO’s Queensland expertise brings with them a wealth of experience and a passion for the job.
About the new space in Brisbane
ENGEO’s new space at 25 King St, Bowen Hills is on Level 5 in the largest engineered timber structure in Australia, which is nine stories plus ground superstructure. The building utilises a combination of Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glulam (glue laminated timber). Glulam is used for the structural beams and columns, and the CLT for the floors, lift shafts and stairs.
What is even more impressive is that the building has a 6-Star Green Rating (highest possible and world-leading) and a 5-Star NABERS Energy Rating.
Let’s catch up at our new modern office location to discuss potential collaboration and projects for change!
