ENGEO prepared the project Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the project and served as the Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) for the project. The project consists of the construction of an employee parking lot and a logistics yard, totaling approximately 20 acres in size.
ENGEO performed stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) monitoring of the site on a weekly basis for the duration of the project, and worked with the client and city to resolve project BMP issues. ENGEO provided cost effective recommendations to the client and contractor to address observed BMP issues throughout the life of the project.
To improve efficiency, the project was amended several times to include new project areas within the SWPPP, as well as to remove completed project areas from the SWPPP. ENGEO performed updated risk level assessments required for each amendment and responded to review questions, as needed.
