2021 started strong with the addition of two Principals and six Associates. We are proud to recognize these individuals who embody the ENGEO spirit of selfless service to our clients, staff, and communities.
ENGEO and TerraCosta Consulting Group (TerraCosta), a long-time San Diego firm, combined to create California’s most comprehensive geoscience company, adding coastal engineering and marine geotechnics experts to our team of more than 90 registered Geotechnical, Geologic and Environmental professionals and a total staff of more than 350 professionals located in California, Nevada, Washington, Guam, New Zealand, and Australia.
“The future of ENGEO is just as much about excellence as it is about change and growth. We’d like to build on this solid foundation that we have, and preserve our culture and values. Never rest, and embrace technology to stay at the forefront of our profession. We don’t know what the next 50 years will look like, but we can’t wait,” says Uri Eliahu, ENGEO’s President. “Our San Francisco laboratory became Caltrans certified and is conveniently located in the middle of the Bay on Treasure Island. Clients can take advantage of our easy access, abundance of free parking, and highly qualified, friendly staff to take care of their laboratory testing needs,” says Stefanos Papadopulos, Associate, leading ENGEO’s San Francisco office and laboratory.
Aligning with our company’s vision to be the most admired and trusted service firm in the world, expanding our Reno lab allows us to provide more comprehensive technical expertise to the local market. ENGEO maintains six soil and materials testing laboratories managed by registered geotechnical engineers.
Fire season doesn’t end when the flames are finally put out. Areas affected by wildfires become susceptible to soil erosion that can manifest as mudslides and debris flows during wet weather. ENGEO’s team of engineers, geologists, and GIS analysts provides post-fire erosion mitigation solutions to protect your critical infrastructure, properties, and sensitive water bodies.
“With our team’s collective knowledge and expertise, we can help public officials and decision makers find solutions for improving aging public infrastructure, expanding flood control, and reducing impacts from coastal erosions and sea level rise,” said Uri Eliahu, ENGEO’s president and CEO.
